Handles rough terrain and harsh environments

The Australian hard rock underground mining industry consumes approximately 800 utilities annually. The average monthly total cost of ownership of the vehicles is approximately $10,000.

It is high as many of these vehicles only last for three years in the corrosive environment underground and they only last for about one year working in the tougher roles of Nipper and Charge utilities. The monthly maintenance costs are high because mining tends to consume components and parts faster than other industries. For example, a mining utility is serviced approximately twice a month.

Safescape has identified and secured the distribution rights to a vehicle that offers the industry cost and longevity benefits. With a galvanised body and sealed chassis, the Agrale Marruá is highly corrosion-resistant and capable of handling rough terrain and harsh environments for years to come, setting it apart from the competition.

High payload makes light work of heavy loads

The Agrale Marruá features a 1,400kg payload in the Dual Cab and 1,585kg in the Single Cab.

The Marruá AM200 Dual Cab rides on a 3530mm wheelbase and a max length of 5574mm, 2530mm wide including mirrors and 2030mm high.

Rugged construction for the toughest terrain

Originally designed for the Brazilian military, the Marruá has been built with durability and longevity in mind, and has been developed to face the heavy duty challenges of underground mining.

The Agrale Marruá is a heavy-duty, diesel powered Brazilian utility vehicle new to the Australian market. Traditionally used by the Brazilian armed forces and in the mining, forestry, agriculture and firefighting industries, the Marruá is a robust, low-maintenance, corrosion resistant vehicle.

The Australian hard rock underground mining industry consumes about 800 utilities annually and the average monthly cost of ownership of the vehicles is around $10,000.

That’s because many of these vehicles only last for three years in the corrosive underground environment - and as little as a year when working in the tougher roles of Nipper and Charge utilities – because a typical mining ute consumes components faster than in other industries.

The Agrale Marruá offers the mining industry cost and longevity benefits, resulting in operational savings and increased productivity.
